I love my 6.0 as well. I barely got on it since it felt like it was going to destroy something. Just tons of power. That old 5.3 just cant compare. So what do you have behind the 6.0? I just did my 6.0 swap and bolted back the stock trans w/ 105k and rolled into the throttle getting onto the highway and felt it slip in 2nd. Now slips between 1-2 shift. Just baby it around until shop gets me one built. Install should be sometime this week. But just a heads up.

Well now that I have a 4l80e flywheel that came with it and the complete wire harness I'm that much closer to an 80e swap. I'll do that after deployment. Right now I'm releying on old trusty (finish line lvl 7 4l60e). (Knocks on wood)

With three quads on my trailer and a ton of vacation **** I was able to get better mileage through the mountains than my 5.3 unloaded! 13.44 through the mountains and hills rolling 70. When I got to the flats I squeezed out 14.9 at 70mph! It just moves around so easy. It use to be hella fun in boost, now it's hella fun ALL the time. Hahaha.

No the chain fell off but was fine. I wouldn't use it again but it looked ok.

That's interesting. Never heard of the gear itself snapping in half. Thinking about a C5R timing chain myself. I haven't seen anyone selling billet replacement timing gear though.
