Any ideas why my IAT would be 20° over ambient today, compared to 11° over ambient on a hot day? I'm definitely not complaining about 54° IAT, though.

Keep in mind, these IAT's people are quoting are IAT sensors in the MAF in most scenarios. Not relocated. The differences will be in people's different air tracts for the most part. CAI? non-CAI? open filter in engine bay? metal duct? plastic duct? maf been moved? blah blah blah.
Long story short...no reason to bitch about 50* IAT's. Not one.

He has his iat literally in the intake manifold, I think he was complaining about why they are higher than normal.
Maybe heatsoak? Is your meth spraying the same as it was before?
Like you said, 54deg, that's awesome!

I thought I'd be hating winter coming. It was 34 here the other day with low humidity, got my Walbro installed and took it for a test drive at 10psi for the first time...WOOOHOOOO!! Even without the intercooler it felt like I had 75hp mor than before.

So his/your IAT is in the intake manifold? I hate you then too. LOL 54* At idle in 48* weather I see 100*IAT. I have a larger Hxr as well. ugh.
