oh damn, I didn't even know that! Oh well, knowing you it will come back even faster and nastier. Hopefully this time I have something to hang. Man, it's been a looooong time since our "bolt-on" days!!! lol

haha yep! I like your thinking!! And I'm only going to have a stock block 5.7 with a turbo only, no nitrous! LOL

Are you going with a Scat crank? All the other cranks are like 4.050 or 4.080. I can sell you the 392(6.1L block) that Stu built me.

How are you coming along on building the turbo?

It's the mopar performance crank for their 392. What are the specs on the 392? May need a back up for the future. But right now for the first build I'm staying with the 5.7 block and stock/mildly ported heads and the stock truck intake. That way I can still mock up additional turbo kits for those that would like one. If I go 6.1 block I would use 6.1 heads and intake manifold and that would throw off the cold side piping for all the other Ram guys.
The front mount is on the back burner until about a month away from the Houston Truck Shootout. For now, I'm building a low mount just to get boosted while waiting on a shortblock. I'm just waiting on all my oiling system stuff and then i'll throw in some injectors and a tune and be on the road. I'll probably use the low mount and 70mm turbo to break in the new shortblock on 8-10ish psi before putting on the front mount 88mm.
