anything ever come of this? my motor is getting weak and I found an 8.1 for a reasonable price.

naw, the truck has to be used for mock ups. I was looking for another RCSB but no luck as of yet. If your truck is not an 8.1L then I would recommend staying with a 6.0L or a 5.3L.
