Default 5.3L to an 8.1L this winter.:)

This winter I figure I would try something a little different then the morn.

I picked up a 8.1L for the test truck. We have a couple of options here but either way it will be force feed.
Here are a couple of pics, engine looks alright, but damm the guys truck was a mess, oil absorb and broken glass all over the bottom of the pallet..

Have not figured out which way we are going, twin turbos or blower with this one. Should make out for an interesting project. Plans are to start once I figure out the surging in the 5.3. and once I map out all these freaking wires.

If anyone can help with the wiring etc, please drop a line.

I vote you make two of whatever you do and send me one!! .

I have a a bunch of schematics, expanded views, and stuff for the 8.1L including harness connections and wiring stuff. Let me know what your looking for and i will see if i have it in my pile of junk I have gathered over the years. TieRod and Vernon are also resources to help you answer any questions you have. How about a custom intake to mount the 3.4L whipple to? Wait, that sounds to much like what i want....

Big single gets my vote... motor alone has got plenty of low grunt. Maybe a 91mm... thumper line from t-netics or one of Jose' FI-X series

Wiring? PM sent
