Talking 5.3 turbo

2010 5.3 T70 setup with stock internals... are they hypereutectic pistons? i want to put a cam in but im curious if i should just put forged pistons in or if guys are having good luck putting power down with no problem on stock pistons? any help appreciated!!! thanks ryan

Cam it and BOOST it!. These motors are tough! Keep the tune right and it will make plenty of power in stock form.

i would replace the stock one with a larger unit. there are many write ups on here that will give you some ideas.
