you guy's are awesome for all the help. The guy(ED Wright fastchip automotive) that will be doing my dyno tune is backed up for a couple month's. So it will give me time to get some mods in order. What size pulley would you recommend for the exhaust. I'm going LT, no cats, and probably magnaflow muffler. I currently have a transgo shiftkit intalled in my 4l60 it seems to be doing well. When i hit second at about half to 3/4 throttle it'll chirp the tires. Traction is the main issue for me fight know.

Go long tubes and 3" duals all the way back to twin straight thru mufflers (magnaflows are my choice). A good exhaust lowers boost, which lowers temps, which makes more power available. A good free flowing exhaust is pretty much easy hp. It just maximizes everything else you do. You can probably do a 3" pulley or even a 2.8" with a mild blower cam. The 5.3L will make a lot of power and live a long life if you do it right.

I would recomend saving for a new trans as well, my stock 60E lasted only 14k miles
with the maggie 112. and thats total miles on the trans. I had not found this site yet so i put another stocker in and its starting to slip another 15K later. almost have enough saved up for a FLT trans thay are a sponser to the right>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

LOL..yeah good site for research on a maggy 112 setup on chevy truck.
First things first...if you want more power out of the setup you have, you need to start thinking about the trans like others have pointed out. That car trans is not gonna do the trick in stock form (80% of the time). Putting a lot of money in the setup and then being without a trans will **** you off big time.
Welcome to the site! Hide your credit cards and cash!!!! Wheatly, Nelson, and Black Bear tuning shops are very very familiar with your setup and can hook you up better than the fore mentioned tuner for a lot less in the long run.
