My 5.3 loves the M112, I wouldn't go to a 122 if it were offered to me.

Won't the TVS be available soon for the 5.3 as well?

It is a standard 112.

I know the "if it isn't broke don't fix it" theory, but you don't think that the 122 would get you more power on boost alone? Nitrous obviously gets you all the extra punch you'd want, but isn't more power on boost alone a good thing? Even more, if you have a mishap with the 5.3L are you going to stay with the same cubes?

Run that 112 at 500whp around a road coarse once lol. One of two things will happen.

One, it runs a incredibly slow considering the 500whp dyno sheet because you have it tuned correctly and its pulling timing when the IAT's are at 200+ degrees.

Two, it melts the engine down because it rattles itself to death.

I can make a 112 hit 500whp on the dyno too after a cool down. Make it repeat itself after 3 back to back pulls like a properly supercharged or turbocharged car and then I will be impressed.

Not sure if I follow you here, I have run 3+ back to back runs and not seen anywhere near those IAT's, matter of fact I was faster each pass. Do you run a road course at WOT the whole time?

Just about, at the drag strip you get some time to cycle coolant through the heat exchanger while not at WOT, this is a big help. Its not just WOT at the road coarse its the high rpm's all of the time that keeps the blower spinning.

If I am not mistaken you have n20 to cool yours down also?

I used to street tune my truck and the temps would go 150-160 after a few pulls. I dont remember them going much higher. They would usually drop down when cruising.

When I was at Synergy, I dynoed on a Dynapack, in order, 530, 540, and then 545rwhp. They were full pulls to redline. I run a 2.9 pulley which is about 8 psi on my lq4.

I have logged runs with and without nitrous, showed no difference at all as far as IAT's go, the end of the runs the IAT's were identicle which btw actually surprised me.
