4x4 and boosted... what have you broke?

As you bought the truck already equipped with the heavy duty drive train, there is not much more to add besides a Trutrac, shift kit and a front locker(optional). Turbo should be kinder to the drivetrain than a blower. If you do pull the trans, you can upgrade the torque converter then, unless you want a higher stall speed now for the turbo. Don't want to go up too much though if you plan on towing.
Any comments on the rear driveshaft in these long trucks?

I gotta ccsb 8.1l 2500hd. Rear mount turbo. 2nd boosted 4wd launch I crushed the tierods. I use sleeves now, No problem at all with them. They can be a little pricey but you can build them in a machine shop for almost nothing. BUT now it sorta rides wierd in 4hi. I may have twisted an axel but Ive not wanted to tear it down to check. Other than that Ive not had anything else break...yet. BUT then again Ive got the Allison, not the 4l80e.

I have a chevy 2500 and i'm running 6lb and i haven't beefed anything up. As for the transfer case the only thing that you would need to do is put a case saver in it because the stupid little clips gm used wear through right away and then its metal banging on aluminum. The only time i've seen a chain go bad in these types of transfer cases is one thats been ran with no oil. Your transmission should be just fine just bump the line pressure up some and you should be good to go, that's what I did. I've never had a problem with my rear end in my 130,000 miles but I have heard of some horror stories from other people.

3 4L65E's (one stock, two mildly built up) over about 30k miles before I finally put in a 4L80E. Seems to be holding up for the last 10k. Knock on wood, everything else seems to be holding up fine.
I've heard about issues with the tie rods on some of the big torque diesel biulds when running in 4WD. On a hard launch, the fornt end unloads but the 4WD transfer cases don't redistribute the load like an AWD transfer case (like a limited slip rear end but front-to-back) so when they re-hook up after the front end comes back down, all hell breaks loose and things start breaking.
