When the hell did you make it over to the central US?

10.5 should be fine but like 03 said timing will probably be an issue and you may have to rely on the meth to get some timing in it. Can you get E85 around those parts? If you can that would be awesome and make a ton more power than 93 would even with meth.

Personally I would stay around 10.2-1 with a cam that has minimal overlap. Good out of boost manners, smooth idle, it will like boost without being knock happy... Just IMO

I would talk to Pat G and tell him exactly what you want to do, see what he comes up with. Like I said before the cam he spec'd for me is exactly what I wanted. Well basically I spec'd it myself and then went to him to see if what I wanted matched what he said. ( I doubt myself)

You can always add timing if your c/r is mild. If you go too far with c/r, you can be limited. Pick your cam wisely. DCR comes into play too. The cam that "Joe Bob" finds excellent in his rig may be totally wrong for yours. Twenty five bucks spent on Pat G's rec might be the best money you'll spend.

I will definitely get a Pat G recommendation before I buy. I need to wait until the heads get worked so I know exactly what chamber size, valve size, etc I’m working with. If I went with a .060 thick gasket is that to going to cause me problems as I see most run a .040 or so.

I moved to Altus almost 2 years ago. Pay attention. No E85 here. I’m lucky to find 92 octane.

Here are the numbers I came up with, not that I’m a cam expert:
224/230 .612 .612 (114 LSA gives me -1* overlap) (116 LSA gives me -5* overlap) I figure the 116 will have better street manners though..

Side note: TQ MNSTR is available as a personalized plate according to the state Personalized License Plate Inquiry site...

Spoke with Richard a WCCH. The heads will be 75cc chambers. So not taking the cam into account for compression this is what I am working with right now. Seems pretty good to me.

That calculator doesn take into account piston deck height which normally is around .008, which would make you have 10.4:1 but I dont think Id run a .06 HG. A .04 is going to give you better quench but will also net you 10.85:1...

it says gasket thickness plus or minus amount piston is in the hole.
