Great build Hoe! I would love to put a tvs on my 408. It looks great under the hood and can't wait to see some driving vids. Good luck on the tuning. I know it can be a bear at times.

This has been a long time coming and most of you have probably forgotten about this thread. I was finally able to get everything together and tow the Hoe down to Speedtek in Dallas.
Sam Miller did the dyno tuning on it Saturday. However, the vast majority of the tuning was done over email with logs and phone calls by Zippy. So he gets credit as well.
The initial pull was 480/537 on the very conservative and unfinished Zippy tune. Sam took it from there and said that the AFR was pretty much set he just had to add timing and make some throttle table adjustments.
After all was done it put down 618/629.
What do you guys think?

I just got home with it and havent had a chance to drive it yet. I dropped it off Friday and picked it up today. I was in San Antonio all weekend. So no impressions on it just yet. Stay tuned!

Impressive! What happened at ~5800? Looks like it might have had timing pulled?

Maybe, I havent pulled the tune to look at the tables yet. Might get to that tomorrow. I told him I didnt want to spin it past 6500 so maybe that's just where it quit making power. I have a pretty restrictive (quiet) exhaust on there.

It's in this thread somewhere but its something like 231/239 .594/.612 116+1 (that's from memory so it may be off some)

I havent driven it more than 100 feet yet lol...I just drove 10 hours today, towing for the last 7. Returned the trailer and am getting ready for Monday. I'll play tomorrow

Nice, glad you are getting it wrapped up. How much boost on that pull?

8 pounds. The drop off at 5800 may also be belt slip. Maybe I need to drop 1/2 to 1" in belt length.
