LSX 427, TF235's, S91 (T6)....
you'll see your 4 digits and have room to grow IMO... I'd get away from a log setup with a combo like that though. Equal length tubular stuff is the only way to fly once youre in that territory. Good luck with it, you'll probably have to revamp your fuel system as well. that monster will be thirsty

id go the 427 and 91 because your always wanting to change something for more power so you might as well do it now before you wast the money building the 408 again and just put all the money in the 427 just my opinion though

Honestly, you need to pick a target before you end up with more money spent on your truck than your house.
What are your goals? Decide that then build what you need to hit your goals. Also, avoid goals like 1000rwhp... Make your goals about something that's meaningful to you -- if you want that big dyno sheet, fine, go for your grand, but if your goal is really about having a bad *** DD or street/strip truck, then forget about dyno numbers.
As I guy who drove 1000+ on the street... It's not that fun on a daily basis. BTW a 408 with a PT88 and 235 heads will make 1000hp. No question. It's been done with smaller cc heads... That 88 is rated for 1250 crank hp.

i just want to run in the 10s. im looking at going to a t-6 turbo. my turbo do not have a big enough wheel in it to make the power that i want with out over spinning it.

what he said! My only suggestion would be to keep the LSX block due to its ability to grow with your future plans, keep the small bore and go bigger if needed later, that block will get you there!
