I gave up on brass a long time ago. I typically only use zinc plated steel on npt's. Stainless works too but will cross thread pretty easy.

So I'm about 99% done. hopefully going to drive under boost this evening. I'll post pics of progress in the next couple days.
I built/installed my 4" turbo back side exit exhaust. I bought a huge muffler to quiet it down. My wife was complaining about the noise on a 3" magnaflow.
So we cranked it up the other night..... the quietest exhaust I've ever built. you can hear the valve train over the exhaust. I am running atmosphere dumps so this should get pretty interesting on the street

Muffler is a DynoMax Ultra Flow Welded Muffler - 17557
The in/out are straight perforated pipe offset on their respective sides. They both enter a common chamber in the middle. It's not technically "straight through" but there isn't any baffling. You can look down one pipe and see light from the other.
