Default 4.8 tvs1900 boost and pully ?s

Ok I have a stock bottom end 4.8 except arp rod bolts, I'm currently at 10 psi and making 510hp 440trq, if I went to 12 psi wat kinda hp gains and wat I've pully would that be, also I'm having trouble slinging belts off, today I hit 3rd and broke the entire tensioner, so I'm looking at the HD tensioner from Maggie I have 6 rib setup do I jus use my pully on there new tensioner? Thanks for any help also it is a t56 truck so I think that is part of th ed belt popping off but I need it fixed tired off putting belts on thanks

I really have no clue I jus had it installed and said I wanted 10 psi if u take a tape measure it's right around 2.5 if that helps I mean it runs good now but I can't drop clutch ar track or it pops belt off. And how much hp would 2psi make my bottom end handle it? I shift at bout 6500 made most pwr at 6450.

If your blower pulley was that small you would be pushing over 15 psi. I think you'd be OK at 12 psi with a proper tune and fuel.

Is your crank pulley pinned? Otherwise it will tend to spin on the crank and walk forward causing the belt to come off. Check that the crank pulley bolt hasn't loosened.

Also check that the tensioner is centered in its range of travel when the belt is on. It needs room to unwind as the belt stretches with RPMs and you don't want it bouncing off the other stop when you back off and the belt tightens up again.

Ok yea like I said I have no clue on exact size but it's at 10 psi so idk and yes it looks to have a part # maybe. But will check later, and yea it is pinned but I will check bolt to I'm gonna order the HD tensioner kit I guess with the 6 speed and 4.88s it bounces around alot probably during shifts. Thanks for advice guys appreciate it.

This truck must be a blast to drive!

The last couple digits on the pulley should signify the diameter.

With your boost and all the loading and unloading you're having with shifting the 6 speed, you really should look into stepping up to a 8 rib belt setup. You're pitching the belt cuz it stretches and snaps back so much. A wider belt with the HD setup will help that a lot!
