Default 4.8 Procharger set-up questions...

did a search, maybe I am not so good at that.lol

What converter do most of you guys go with?

and how much power do they make with the 8psi setup?

cant help you to much but you may want to state what year truck you have. gen III or IV 4.8 and what other mods you have done, LT headers, cam, ect..

He's right, anywhere from 3000-4000, depending on what you can stand and what you want out of it. Weight of the truck, power being made, cam, etc. all come into play as well.

I'm running the Yank TT3200 and I like it alot. Can't really tell you how hard it pulls on the 4.8 because of belt slipping issues. But it pulled like a monster on the ECSB 5.3.

3200 yank here, 410's with 9 lbs, pulls like raped ape.. it's a 4.8 also, just look at my VIN #

Well in that case my truck has a 5.3 and a 60e

yeah def do atleast a 3200. IMO anywere from a 3600 to 3800 i have a 3600 in my truck which is a 4.8 also and wish i did a 4000 its a yank ss3600 btw

Thanks for the input guys..I should have mentioned, it's a 01'GMC Sierra. I'm flying to NC tomorrow to buy it. I am not sure all that's done to it, but it has a procharger on it and it's a 4.8 with headers of unknown origin. I'll have to decode what else is done to it since it's at a dealer that bought it wholesale. I was just really curious what kinda et's and hp we were at..and how you guys made them run hard. Already helped out a bunch.
