Default 4.8 / 1900 radix / catch can?

03 4.8 with 1900 radix at @ stock psi
6 lb I think. Wondering if I need to get a catch can for it. Haven’t been able to get on it hard yet (breaking in rear diff)
but I’m laying around the house with the 🇨🇳 bug trying to think of something to order for it.
thanks

It's a good idea, and relocate where the PVC goes into the engine from the manifold, to somewhere between the throttle and the blower. That way it will always be in vacuum, or near vacuum, but never boost pressure.

Could always just vent PCV to air and not need a catch can

Just noticed a little ( half dollar size )
oil spot under the truck yesterday haven’t investigated but read where boost could cause it. Reasonably priced simple to install recommendations?

Yeah, I said F*** PCV and ran a hose down below the engine for awhile, until the oil stains I left everywhere I parked were allowing "them" to follow me. And my underneath and tailgate were covered with oil spray from when I was on the highway.

I can just imagine what my engine compartment would have looked like if I had a breather coming out of the valve cover instead of the hose to the ground

Breather filter dude. Just like the old days of having a filter on each valve cover lol

My 2300 is vented with a breather filter on each valve cover. If you are an agressive driver and put it in boost a lot I say use a catch can. I see a little oil residue off the passenger side filter

I did the same, drilled a hole in my filler cap added some steel mesh and glued a breather filter on top of it.
