Default 4.3 swap to 6.0 with a whipple

Heres where im at i have 6.0 out of a 05 hd. Im swaping it in to a 05 half ton with a 4.3. Heres my problem i have the complete engine harness from the hd but the 4.3 is cable throtle body and the 6.0 is drive by wire. I have the gas pedal out of the hd but nothing else. My question is is the interior harness the same in the cable controlled 4.3 as in the drive by wire 6.0 if so what else is needed to make this work or do i need to change interior harness of the truck to one from a donner truck. And maybe any other segestions of what troubles i might run in to in this swap. Ive already got the 6.0 in so turning back now is not an option. Any help would be greatly apreceated because im at a stand still till i get this figured out. THANKS

well you have 2 options, one convert your truck to throttle by wire, or convert your motor to dive by cable. option 2 is the easiest in my opinion. grab a 5.3 throttle body or aftermarket, and a stock 5.3 style t/b cable and a 5.3, or 6.0 drive by cable COMPUTER. im betting your new computer will want a tune, so it can be any silverado v8, nelson wants 4111 as the last 4 part number if i remember correctly.
lastly is to get the pin out of your harness and print it
get a pinout of the donor cable computer and match it up (incase there are differences.
simple as that.

So i have the electric pedal. After i get the tach module does it plug in to the engine harness or the interior harness. And what harness does the pedal plug into or does it have its own harness. I hate to sound so dumb but im in unknown teritory.

I swapped to DBW, Only thing i had to do was switch to the new pedal, and run the harness from the pedal to the tach module, which will mount where the old DBC cruise control box was. My only complaint, is no cruise, i haven't taken the time to figure out what has to plug where from the multifunction switch.

So it is a separate wiring harness to the tach module or is it part of another harness.

It's just a small short harness from the pedal to the TAC and there is a plug on the engine harness that plug into the TAC also. That's it for wiring.

DBW sucks anyway. Go with a cable.
