I vote Dmax/ally swap with a compound setup. Plenty of torque to turn the tires and the trans (built) will hold. That's just me though.

You should put the 4.5 whipple on a Duramax. That would be interesting. Torque for years.

No thanks. If I were to do a diesel swap I'd do a 6.7 cummins with a 6spd allison behind it.

I'm doing this setup to be unique and to make folks say wow.

But, like was said, I can build the 6.0 I already have for half of what it'd take to get 750whp out of any current diesel.
