Default 36 degrees ambient = 10 psi ... COOL

Now if I could only figure out how to get the dragstrip to open back up and keep the track dry all night...

You aren't joking. My truck absolutely loves cold weather. Its the best feeling in the world driving it on a cold crisp morning. IATs stay low and the power stays high.

For some reason, the two closest 1/4 mile tracks here in north Texas are closed already. It looks like I'm going to have to drive at least 3 hours to run a 1/4 mile this winter, maybe even farther than that. Thats going to make it difficult since I don't want to break anything so far from home (and help).

Dude, I hear that. I ran a whipple on my old Z71 for a little while. It really loved the cool spring mornings. Too bad Summer comes early here in TX.

Mee too!!! I punched it on an on ramp late last night, the temp was somewhere around 40 degrees and WOOOHOOOO!!! The thing went sideways and then again when I hit second gear! The cold is great for power and shitty for traction.

You guys suck! It's like in the high 80's here. Low 60's in the morning, but I definatley feel the difference. They close the track here, but not because of temperature. I think its because they're lazy.

You would not believe the difference in power!! My intercooler piping has a small leak and is only making 7-8lbs and I havent increased my timing yet!! The denser air makes such a big difference in power.

The weather determines if I can break the tires loose. I need a supercharger!
