Customer installed his transmission cooler after the condenser. And has told us of no transmission temp rise in that location.

 

that thing is massive ill be in the market for a 4 inch most likely but i have a 02 so its harder to fit

 

4" will fit. Just needs some trimming.

 

Wow. This is impressive. I'm wondering if the boost also increased because the shorter distance of piping. Cooler iat and faster spool, can't get better than that.

 

He kept the boost as close as possible to keep comparison the same.
30' hotter out side temps and still cooler intake air temps.

I have had reports from customers that switched intercoolers.
It forced them to do a retune and seen slight increases in boost.
They had to change springs to keep the boost down.
