The tvs will work. The old whipples are not intercooled. YOU DO NOT WANT A WHIPPLE! Trust me on this. I wasted many thousands on one and my truck actually got slower. Intake temps in excess of 250 degrees. You can find magnacharger blowers and tvs blowers all day. Whipple are not that popular. I wonder why. Whipple also has lousy customer service. I would really and truly recommend not to do any of them unless you have a daily driver vehicle as any type of power adder is going to break stuff. That costs a ton of money. These trucks are more expensive to make go fast. I would also recommend that someone local to you can tune that will eliminate a ton of headaches if you chose to do it.

I dont see on the maggie website that they offer a TVS for a 2002, only the newer stuff. Realistically I would like to run mid 13s in the 1/4 with it and I would be happy. Its a 2002 2500hd 4wd reg cab long bed. I figure the drivetrain is stout enough although I do worry about the 6.0 a little. I do have relatively low mileage though only 75k. If I get a whipple I dont wanna run there tuning setup I would have my buddy tune it with HP tuners and I would get injectors. Does the whipple come intercooled now? I know in the past it didnt.
As for the motor, my truck had 50k on it when I put the blower on, now it as 126k with no issues.

As long as you don't exceed 10lbs of boost your engine will be just fine. The weak point will be your wallet paying for gas. I am not sure what all is different on the tvs but I am sure that you can get one to fit.

I figure at least with the maggie kit even if I sell my truck I can just take it off and put it on my next chevy truck for the most part

Not sure if this is helpful or not, but my 04 2500hd rclb made 387rwhp (not supercharged though) ran 13.20's @ 102mph on the stock tires. So it should run sub 14's no problem. And I never had a problem with the stock g80 unit either. It had over 145k HARD miles on it when I sold it.
