2012 5.3l turbo???

So i wannt step up my performance i have a 2012 4x4 CC flex with the 5.3l thinkig about a turbo set up??? Its a DD so i dont want to go to radical i just wanna see mid to low 13's what do you guys think and o yea i drive it like i stole it all the time thats y im considering a turbo i talked to a guy from speed inc. and he said a supercharger is harder on the eng and if i beat on it all the time ill have troubles????

Turbo is the way to go.
We offer several kits for the truck. Depending on what you use your truck for.

Drag racing
The turbo will give you better all around performance then a blower. blowers have their spot in the world. But for adjustability, hp numbers, and cost. Turbo is the way to go. You just need to honest with yourself what you want out of a kit and what your budget is.

Turbo Is the way. superchargers have come a LONG way and in CRAZY hp still dominate. However 90% of the real world setups turbo is where it is at.
Cheap,easy adjustable, and not limited.
I have had a Procharged car(SB2 400ci), Twinturbo (LS6), and nitrous (LS2). Nothing beat the turbos.
And think this way what are high end headers and catback cost! $1500. Sounds like half a base turbo kit! And what are the gains??? is it 100hp+ NO. so you buy a 6.0 or 6.2 <-----$$$$$
I will be buying all my addons and installing it by April. I have a 5.3, sure stock 6.0 is >$2000 but cost not worth it. As a cam,lifters,rockers,gasket. With 10lb will kill it for $5000 *N/A and (free install,tune, and cost on turbo).
Best of all is the little "johnny bad *** ****" that adds boost and makes me feel better!
