cam selection

So that everyone is up to speed. I'm building a Chevy 408 with ls7 heads and the edelbrock pro flow intake. For injectors I'm going to get injector dynamics 1000. Bought a trick performance turbo set up. T4 flange Borg Warner 80mm, 3.5 in dp. Now I just got to pick a can and this is what I was thinking TU2 236 236 .578 .578 112.5. I know have build trans and stall but its also a dd that just wanna have fun with and take to track every now and again. I'm open to ideas on cam

You plan to DD that setup?!
I hope you have a good back up vehicle. Once you start getting mod crazy it takes a while to get it dialed in enough for daily work. Also will be one hell of a street vehicle. Anyways that cam should make a great deal of power when it's up on boost.

I would want some more lift with those LS7 heads. Duration also might be a littler lager than you need for a DD, and split is also a little tight for a boost cam. I would look more for something in the 225/225 620 620 117 range, depending on what the flow chart for your heads looks like.
