Default 2008 RCSB 4.8 turbo

I've decided to go with a trick turbo kit with a 72 mm turbo and what I haven't figured out is what gear , stall , spark plugs and injectors to go with . I have a built 4l60e that I know I'll have to upgrade in the future but as of know I'll take it easy on it . From what I've read I have a fuel pump control module that controls my pump so I should be ok to 450whp . What spark plugs and gap do you recommend? The truck currently has a 3.23 gear with an open diff , so I ordered a true trac and can't decide on a gear . Which would be better 3.73 or 4.10 For a 4.8 ? And I have no clue on the stall 3200.. 3400 ? 60lbs injectors good enough ? I'd like to get y'all's feed back and see what others are doing to y'all's trucks ...

Id go 3.42 gears, 60 pound injectors are good, your stall is depending on what you plan on doing with the truck, Daily Driver? Track?

Track,I drive the truck less than 50 miles a week . I'd say it toy mostly. I used to daily a head cam 408 Tbss with 3400 stall with 100 shot . So stalls don't bother me. I just wasn't sure on gear and stall with small cube 4.8 with a turbo plus it being a pig.

Kind of depends on tire diameter. Many are a fan of 3.42s and such for a turbo to build load on it. I can only tell you my one experience on a different setup. 07 4wd 5.3, STS 67mm @ 5.5 lbs, built 4l60 Precision 10.5" 2800, 5050 race weight, 32" diameter 275/55/20's. 1/8 mi et stock: 10.39, After above mods: 9.54. I was pissed. It was a pig out of the hole. Only changed the 3.42's to 4.10's et 8.90 in same weather and no other changes. It drove like a different truck! Changed stall to 9 1/2" 3k precision and upped boost to 8.5 lbs, et 8.11 in ~ 100 degree temp. Went back in cold weather same setup et 7.64. It loved the 4.10's with such a big heavy tire.

Put 4.10's or 4.56's in it. Don't fear the gear.

I currently have 275/45/20 which is a 29.7 diameter tire .. Ill order a set of Bogarts like i had for my TBSS and run a 325/45/17 or 390/40/17 M@H Drag radial so thats 28.0 and 29.5 tires . Im thinking 3.73 or 4.10 as a gear option and 3.42 would be great if it was street only . What Rpm Stall did you have in the Z71 ?

I think your asking me...the 9 1/2" PI was rated 3k. It would flash to 28-3000 but I could stand on it a few seconds (don't recommend) and see 4400 @ full boost. There is a great automotive calculator at wallaceracing.com down the page on the left. It will help you decide based on expected trap speed. Gonna be fun!

I run 4.10's with a 29" tall slick and 3600 stall in my turbo 5.3 RCSB. Been 7.04 in the 1/8, with a 1.61 sixty and i'm still a total newb at launching a turbo setup.
