Well can anyone tell me anything about anything related to the 06 ?

 

To me it doesnt matter if its an 06 with or without the flex pump get a 450 for 120$ and be done with it.

 

Sorry man, Im a liar. I have the walbro that came with the Kit lol. I did my truck and my dads 2011 nnbs Back to back, his was the one on a stock pump. My bad sorry.

AS the guys said above, get a walbro 450. Drop the tank, remove sending unit, remove pump, install bakc into sending unit, into tank, done.

 

Someone makes a Stock unit, WITH walbros pre isntalled for like 400-500 bucks...If your truck has some miles on it, its a good idea as you get everything else new with it

 

I'm tryin to find out some info on this right now too. I've been supercharged for about 50-60,000km and I've went thru two 5.3's already. #7 cylinder on both motors, leading me to believe the the stock fuel pump can't keep up with the 52# injectors. May also be the tune, but the guy I bought my mp90 off of also burned a hole the size of a quarter thru his #7 cylinder, and a week after he sold me the mp90, his fuel pump went. Coincidence?

The stock pump in my '06 can BARELY keep up to my heads/cam 5.3 with a hundo shot pulled off the rail. So I just jet the 200 shot a little rich. Anyway, you're going to need to upgrade.
