british people....looks pretty cool to me but i'd hate to be the first one that buys it and deal with all the problems like the gears failing and the whole thing just being another thing to ground wires to under the hood

W2W has Rotrex superchargers they make a setup for our trucks and even a twin setup. They probably know all about the new transmission for their superchargers. It's pretty neat to keep track of new technologies, but it looks like that would be a really complicated and expensive system.

An expensive and complicated way of just putting a smaller pulley on the charger. My 4L60E can barely handle the torque of the engine, no way will that tiny thing handle it through the compressor.

I think he's saying the supercharger transmission will be unlikely to hold up to the engine-torque via the belt.

Who knows? Maybe this will completely change the way people see the centrifugal s/c. Or, maybe it will never work well over time. Would be nice to see some test data and longevity numbers after its been out for a while.

these are used in europe alot and seem to be reliable, but if there is any doubt then check out waht W2W is taking on the power tour, and I bet they get this transmission figured out b/c the fluid drive is so quiet that it makes a great sleeper.
