em i missing something here, why are some of you running 2.5 and 3 bar sensors at boost levels that a 2 bar will pick up? i think my 2 bar read up to around 17psi just fine and my 2.5 got me to 22.7 ish psi.

Didn't smokeshow say the zr1 map doesn't work because our PCM's won't allow a negative offset. Only the newer pcms can handle that maps calibration.

Are you guys using the ZR1 map sensors for speed density tunes? Or are you using it in conjunction with the mass air? At what psi are you guys upgrading from the stock one cause my tuner never told me that I need to change the map on my 7-10psi turbo NNBS truck on a mass air tune.

1 bar is atmospheric pressure. About 14.5 PSI. A 2 bar sensor will read atmospheric pressure and 1 more bar, so about 14.5 PSI of boost. A 2.5 bar will read atmospheric pressure and 1.5 more bar, so about 21.75 PSI of boost. A 3 bar will read atmospheric pressure and 2 more bar, so about 29 PSI of boost. You shouldnt run your boost right on the peak of your sensor in case you overboost, or it would lean your engine out. I was thinking of going with a 2.5 bar, but might go higher.

I've got a ZR1 sensor and connector if anyone wants to try it lol... But even my 3 bar sensor now doesn't show the most accurate information, and its actually meant for our stuff.

I'm running a 2.5 bar sensor and it works good. There is a guy on ls1tech that makes them out of stock sensors so they are a direct swap. I have ran up to 19psi and it worked great. I'm using efi live to tune it.
