I have some questions about the Magnacharger/Magnuson/Radix superchargers.
I've got a car that is maybe around 4200 raceweight, and I'm piecing together a 5.3 with 317's, rebuild 4L80E, maybe a 3600 stall, and not sure on rear gear let's assume 3.73's right on 28" tires.
I'm wondering if the MP112 can be pulleyed up to get this combo on paper to run 11.9's? I might consider Vortech or Procharger kits too, I'm a bit open but the strong midrange of the Magnachargers would help this 'sled' get going.
The car will look like this in about a month:

Had a converter that flashed at 3600-3800 & it was awful on the street with the radix, plus 9 MPG
Replaced it for a very tight 3000 stall for the horsepower. MPG went up to 16 around town & the toque felt like it doubled to the ground. It will be tough to get there with a 112, but can be done with race gas/meth. IMO go TVS1900 & you will secure high 11's much easier without a doubt just depends on if your trying to get there on straight pump gas. There would no problem on race gas or with meth injection getting mid to low 11's with a TVS1900.

I think the 112 would get you to your goals easily with the right combo. Especially at 4300lb, and of course traction. I'd shoot for about 10psi, which the 112 can do fairly easy on the 5.3. Probably a 3.0 or 2.9 pulley. I also agree with the other guys. A smaller converter than you mention, small boost specific cam and good exhaust. Keep the compression in the 9.5 to 10.0 range.

I have, but not very many have boost only. My last passes with the radix were 1/8 mile boost only 7.3's @ 96 beating the hell out of the tune with timing, meth inj. & race gas shifting @ 6600 which converts over to around 11.50's @ 119 in the 1/4.
Plus not to mention that was on a GT2-3 cammed 6.0.
