get your blower rpm up to around 21,000-22,000 and let me know what it does. I was at 22,200. It happened as low as 20,800

they work until you start pushing them hard.

if you scan commanded vs a tail TPS you can see it start to happen before it goes into REP. P59 cannot tune around this.

For the record if I turned it down to 19,000 or so blower rpm it didn’t act up.

I doubt with a 5.3 and a small cam your turning over 20k blower rpm.

I bet it would start acting up then too. I know you have been through this all already and ended up switching to a cable tb to get around it. I was just answering the OP's question that yes you can use a NW102 with an X-link and citing what I'm using it for.

My signature is out of date, it is now a 370 with dart 250 heads and an appropriate cam. I'm not spinning it that hard yet but ill get a look at my logs and let you guys know what I am seeing for boost, I haven't had the truck out yet this season.

I am gonna run the 2.7 pulley with the 10% overdrive and not rev over 6400 rpm so the blower will be spinning in the low 19,000's. Hopefully the ported blower snout and the 1" phenolic spacer will help the air flow.

Similar, though right now I have 2.9" until I get the blower ported. Be around 19000rpm blower speed. May or may not be worth the $$ to get one...

102's or LS3 90mm clones that use magnetic sensors are not compatible with the truck TAC module. For one thing, the 5V reference circuit is inadequate to power the magnetic sensor.

Nick Williams 102 works with the gold version X-Link. I think the issues with the 102's at higher boost levels with a blower are due to the current draw. Typical max allowed current is 6 amps. Exceed that and the throttle will shut down.

Here are a 102 and a LS3 clone with magnetic sensors. Last pic is a 102 that uses a contact type sensor as in GM TBs.

Sounds like an external power source is in order.

There also needs to be continuity through the sensor.
