Launching it is going to be your problem. They way they transfer wieght drives the traction control NUTS. It will squat real hard in the rear making the front end very light.

I have a ground force lowering kit on it, and Eibach anti sway bars, the suspension is pretty stiff . Any suggestions on rear shocks that will still allow me to keep my auto leveling system functioning and still give me better traction?

Or should I just have it tuned so the big boost comes in later?

No really it would be interesting to see what this setup does.Just nice to see something a little different. Even if it does have wagon wheels on it.

You need to strap or chain the front end down so you don't get so much weight transfer. Or you might even be able to pull the front driveline, and just run slicks on the rear, using that weight transfer to your advantage. Im going to try my truck both ways.

James,

Good to see you on the boards. Sadly I been to busy in the shop to even think about getting on here to really type anything. Back in the day I had much more time to cruise the forums, now days I would have to dump my GF to find the time. LOL.

Yes, your truck is going to be one wicked machine. I remember when you dropped it off you said you wanted a turbo, and the possibility to go Mid 12's Kinda kept going from there, and now it's gonna be exciting to see how far she can go. While keeping her mild street manors so that you can enjoy her daily.

The shipping delays on parts, and everything was/has been a test of both your patience as well as mine. But the old saying goes, you can't rush perfection. Kinda the way it always goes.

I'll be writing you an E-mail soon, so be on the lookout for that.
Take care,
Erik

PS: James I don't think you need to worry about the weight transfer.... your truck is so low and stiff I don't see her moving around all that much. This thing is STIFF! Plus with the AWD and large rubber you have on the ground so is gonna boggie. Time will tell.

So is this the infamous suv from the google streetview picture? lol

I can't wait to see this thing. I'm sure you'll have a blast catching people off guard with it. If you need tires, I have a set of 4 M&H dr's that I bought from Choung for mine. They're 325/45-17's, and I mounted them on a set of 07 gmc takeoffs. If you're still waiting on any parts, let me know. I was planning a very similar build and have everything sitting in the garage just laying around.

No... this truck was sitting inside the shop.

Whats famous about me and google maps.. is that "I" am in the photo. I was outside tuning a White Cobra Mustang when they came by and snapped the photo, and I was talking on the phone with a customer with a White Denali that I had done a supercharger kit on. (Not kidding)

Sadly as soon as this truck is done with it's stay at the House of Boost, it's on its way outta the state. The owner is moving, and the truck will be tearing up the streets in its new town. (If it's not towing his other amazing creations on wheels)
