I have a small canton alum tank. As far as up dates, I had a small fuel pump problem that was my mistake that I fixed, now this thing purrs.Still I'm only running 6 pounds of boost and I can cruise around 30 to 45 mph leg into it and it will roast tires. I actually Just got back from taking it out. I'm still smiling! Im gonna start putting all finishing touches on it probably in a week or two.need to do roll pan, fill in top bed holes, front wheel wells, got an HD front bumper with opening, powder coating wheels and changing color of truck.then it's going up FOR SALE.

So far, all is well. It's a total cruiser if you want it to be, then again push on the right pedal and it becomes really fun really quick! I've only been thru 2 tanks of fuel due to not being my everyday transportation. 2 thumbs up for sure!!

No, not really. It's not that bad, considering I have 22" wheels on it now that doesn't help or hurts low end, but when it does get into boost its comes on really hard and breaks tires loose. I'm thinking for better traction I would need to go back to 373 gear to help calm down tire spin, on other hand I kind of like it now!

I'm buying a kit today. Just trying to decide between 70mm turbo with 218/230 117 or 76mm turbo with like the triple 112 cam. I was wanting the 218/230 but have been told its a dog down low on the 4.8. I see you have the 5.3 so I figured the 70mm would spool into boost quick and give me plenty of power down low.

Let me also tell you that this cam was put in my truck before I decided to go turbo. Its not the cam id go with if I was doing a complete build, in my case it was already in truck and works for me. My advise is go with a cam that works with your hole set up. FYI, yes my truck acts like a 2 stroke for sure!
