Default 07 Shelby GT500

I know, not a truck, but i figured you guys could still help me out. My buddy's dad got his 07 Shelby the other day, and realized that the blower is not making any boost? What could cause this? I told him it was because it's a ford, but he's convinced it's something else.

I really think that you got it right the first time. It's just a ford. Put the same blower on a GM and you've got a winner. On the ford though.....what can you say????.... it's just sad.

Ok guys, the fact that it's a Ford has nothing to do with it. I'd go with what whitt1 said, but why is he f'ing with it? That thing is under warranty, just take it back to the dealer and tell them what's up.

Some new cars/trucks have issues that need repair right off the showroom floor. Souinds like this one neeeds to go back to the dealer for some warrenty work.

Dont think of it as a ford ,think of it as an American.Having spent time in a ford GT,anyone would be thrilled to take the shelby for a spin. Take my word for it.First fix the boost issue.

Not showing boost on the gauge? Car doesn't feel right? What are the issues?

As suggested, take it back to the dealer since it's under warranty.

Hey tell him to keep driving it... Some way they have the pulley setup so it will not make boost until the car hit like 30 miles or something. They had one at are local dealership, and all the salesmen were driving it sayin it was slow as **** as soon the car hit 20 something miles car started making boost and they said it was beast afterwards. They said its something new that ford is doing to help break the motor in, They tried to explain its like a bearing hlafs to lock in the pulley and then it starts makin boost.

JUST TELL HIM TO KEEP DRIVING
