No they had a denali in 02, 01 was the C3. 2002 was the first year for the Denali, also the first year for the Quadrasteer.

You said that the radix is the most complete F/I system out there, I have read alot about the STS turbo any comments on that?

I was also on the Lingenfelter website, they offer a package as I am sure you all know, but is it worth it? I mean the one package is like 8995 and the other is over 15 grand. What is the predicted results, I mean i know they post specs on their page but sometimes the seller can be a bit optimistic and biased. Anyone out there have this package on there truck?

Anyone have any comments on which supercharger or turbo is the best out there and which one will deliver the most power?

Still looking for a tune shop in the midwest. Anyone??
ive never heard of anyone running the lingenfelter packages, waaaayyy over rated.

the sts is ok but doesnt come with an intercooler

Lingenfelter does excellent work, pricey but good, they also warrant their packages.Probably the only builder whose packages enhance the resale value of your car or truck.

Hey guys, I am getting really excited about getting home and getting this project underway. Thanks for the help.

It is an SUV just to clarify, sorry I should have put that in the beginning, so I apologize.

Looks like I will be going with the radix, I have been trying to find time to research and compare, but like I said in the original post, most of the sites are manufacturer biased and I appreciate the "experience" you guys have shared with me.

Still looking for a shop in the midwest, hopefully one that someone has been to before. Reviews always help out quite a bit.

So what do you guys think the total bill would be, approximate, for parts and labor to get my truck in the low 13's high 12's?

Of course we all start with a seemingly strict budget, but once you get going, its hard to stop. lol

Thanks again.

I would still consider a front mount turbo, the Trick kit would be awesome on a Denali.

yes, dont get me wrong the radix is complete and proven thousands of times BUT, a turbo can be loads of fun too, whether it be front mount or rear mount(STS). a front mount will have better spool and less lag, along with higher under hood temps. and with you having a 6.0L LQ9, the most boost you will be able to get out of the base radix is about 9psi. with a turbo it is absolutely unlimited to the amount of boost(power) you can make be cause there is ALWAYS a bigger compressor.

Looks fun! Yours seemed to spool faster than other STS's I have seen. My wife's TBSS in stock trim pulled a truck similar to yours until about 70 mph until his sts spooled.
You can definitely make more power with Turbo (Front especially) but the radix will be a better DD and more responsive off the line. You may want to go ahead to a built 4L80E to save money and headache.
I plan to stay NA with the built 4l65E for reliability sake. I broke 2 lesser built 4l65E's with minor mods already.

For your weight you definitely need to consider the Trick kit like WJ Mark, the money you save on exhaust could be spent on tranny and converter.
