I'm doing a turbo build for my 01 5.3 and I have a few questions. I've searched but haven't found the exact answer I'm looking for. I'm running the holley hi rise intake manifold and I need to know what to do with my egr? Do I just delete it? I know they went away with egr in 03 correct? Also what do I do with my evap solenoid do I delete that also or do I need to put a port on my holley manifold and run a hose to my evap solenoid? My pass exhaust manifold has the egr so I need to get an exhaust manifold off an 03-06 for the driver side correct?

 

Yeah I dont think anybody on here keeps their egr. The evap ive read people just put a breather on it and vent to atmosphere or you can run to your intake. Im not sure if you can plug it or not though...

Yeah you can find a manifold without the port on it or make a block off plate out of some steel that wouldnt be hard, I made one quick when I needed to drive my truck during my build and I had already gotten rid the egr
