It's 4 days later and the misfire is back. It happened after it had been sitting for 2 hours. I had the battery unhooked when I changed the gaskets. I'm wondering if the computer learning itself over a few days causes this. It didn't start until a few days after I installed the smaller pulley. I'll be unhooking the battery and putting the stock pulley back on and driving it a week just to rule things out. It was running so perfect for the last 4 days though It is like someone flips a switch to the "I'm going to F&@* up now mode".
Intake bolts torque o.k. This is going to require much more than I thought.

Default Free case of Beer!

2 days ago I put the stock pulley back on and unpluged the battery for a few minutes. I cranked it for 30 seconds and shut it off and went to bed. The next morning I cranked it and it was missing at idle immediatly. The missing at idle went away when it warmed up and the A/f ratio looked good. 10 miles later after all different types of driving the a/f meter held rich. It stoped doing the lean-rich cycle while cruising. It would fluctuate very little and would constant stay within a couple of bars on the rich scale. When I stoped and idled it went back to lean and didn't register on the meter.
This evening it was missing when started and gave a p300, random misfire code. It registered lean like before but did the lean-rich cycle like it is supposed to do yet it was on the lean side of the scale. When it is showing lean during wot it is down on power.
The first person who gives me valid info on fixing this gets $20. I would buy you a case of beer but the $20 is much easier to mail!

Default Fuel Pressure?

Do you have a fuel pressure guage you can monitor while this is going on?
