Default *4l60e, super charged beef up*

I have a 2006 siverado 4.8 manga charged, burnt the tranny up. Trying to get some advice/kit to rebuild it to hold the power that the motor is producing. Any advice, ideas will help. Thanks.

Yep part 4l80 . Its not a direct bolt there are other things you got to do. Search on this site 4l80 swap and you'll find a thread that has everything you need to know. Although not sure what other mods you have but an 80e might be over kill but you'll only build it once.

If you're gonna be abusive to the transmission & tires with your new-found torque from the Maggie, do yourself a favor and swap to the 80E now. Just do a search & you will understand. I've never had a 60E last longer than 9 months in my truck....

If you can learn to take it easy on your truck than a properly built 65e will be ok..But if you plan on pushing it hard than take the advice above and do the 80e swap now..it WILL be cheaper in the long run!!
