Misunderstood your first post, thought you did it yourself and didn't see a difference.

Here's a couple before I installed it:

If the IAT sensor was still in the MAF I would have IR tested the outside of the tube and compared the delta, but since it's moved to the lower TVS manifold it's hard to say what kind of a difference it makes. The tube cools down much quicker once the engine's off, just like a coated set of headers though, I've noticed.
This is my secret weapon for lower IATs though:

Delta?
Also, not sure what exactly that secret weapon is, but looks to be that C&R HX. If so, dimensions & cost, where'd u get? I know you're a TVS, not sure how much that matters, unless I & O portd of HX are bigger. It does look like your reservoir pump is located down there in front whereas mine is by driver's framerail. Is that stock location on TVS? Also, looks like u got a 100mm MAF.
On a side note, what stall u runnin? I'm shocked to still see a stock tranny cooler.

Any suggestions on settings? Any downside?
Is there any kinda IAT relocation kit that extends the wires or tricks sensor? Or am I thinkin of somethin else?

I only run E85 maybe 25% of the time, gets too expensive getting 9mpg around town. And the PCM will pull timing as IAT's go up, so the wrap has a combined effect of lowering IAT's meaning denser air (maybe only slightly) but also allowing the computer to add timing back in.

so the sensor is moved upstream 8 inches, the air going in the motor is the same temperature, the sensor just picks it up sooner, so add the timing and leave the sensor.

Went to the Australian V8 Supercars race in Austin this weekend. While cruising through the pits, this sight made me feel better about covering my intake with stuff I found at a hardware store (though I'm guessing his works a bit better)
