TTP Dyno Day - Clifton, NJ - May 20th
#21
If you are considering having them do a bolt on tune, they are having a special bolt on tuning dyno day on June 17th, but they can only do 8 vehicles so you have to pre-register. The thread is in the Eastern section of ls1tech.

Thanks for the heads up, $185 is a pretty good price for a dyno tune.
I posted on that thread for the 11-12 time slot. It should be a nice improvement.
See you on Saturday morning.

Tom and Bill, it was nice meeting you guys today. Hopefully we can get all the trucks to island one night after I get tuned on june 17th (with pinch drive in toms truck).
Tom, how was the truck driving on the way home with the Ported TB, did you switch back to the stock one? Was there hell to be paid when you got home?

The truck started up and idled really high at first with the ported TB, but had calmed down with a little driving. We did a few WOT blasts up to about 75 merging onto Rt 46 and the Garden State (left my brother and his Ram in my dust
) and it felt good. I'm going to do some swapping back and forth between the stock and ported one to see if I feel a loss.I'm a little frustrated with the truck right now. I've been looking my graphs over, and somethings just don't make sense. I wish they were able to sample over a bigger rpm range. The A/F is way lean at the start of the graph so I wish I could see what was going on below 4250 rpm. Plus all the hp curves go flat at about 5250 as opposed to almost 6K when I was cam only. I think I need a retune and then go from there, but like I said, gotta take it easy for a while.

Yea, nice meeting you Jeff, it was a good time....wish I would've known about that Mongoose at the garage sale up the street for 2 bucks
I thought your truck felt strong on the ride home Tom, it really seemed to respond when you punched it. I like the way it chirped during the shifts and when you punched it from a roll.
Your brother's truck put down some nice numbers for a stock Hemi with bolt-ons (what was it, 275hp/330tq?). Hopefully they'll start offering more parts and software for his ride...it would be nice to see you guys lined up against each other at Island...you can borrow my helmet
