i had a bad starter, and a vac. leak.

my downpipe melted the starter solenoid.

 

I would say when the veh is cold. I know i dont have a vaccume leaks, no intake leaks either. when its cold or wet outside and when veh is cold, it misses. That pic in my avitar was taken before i redid the plugs,wires,2 coils, cap and rotor. I will do the hood thing again tonight when its dark. I might just get some NOLOGY wires if the wires are arcing because i got the best wires TORCH RUN (in moon) has. I'll just take them back if they are the problem.

I went to ben first and he cracked one of my plugs and we had to replace after we drove home. I am better off goin to John(his boss) for answers/repairs!

If you are still fighting this, does it smell rich when it is running? Any smoke? And usually a vacuum leak will raise the idle, not make it miss. Do you have the ability to plug in a good scan tool that will give you actual engine temp via the ECM? The guage and ECM have different sending units. Is your EGR sticking?

Hey I was at the mall tonite...That place was a Zoo. Waited for almost 1hr to eat at olive garden...

 

wish we woulda known... the wife and I and Brandon drove around all night lookin for places to eat, we ended up at the mall eatin china wok haha. ya we werent even gonna think about doing olive garden or red lobster, applebees and outback both said hour and a half wait
