Ya, every shift(1-2, 2-3,...3-4 would too, I think) was a chirp. Sounds cool, but beats up on parts, as u said. On '89, I never found that fine line, & it sits wounded since I'm broke. Hopefully the 04 smiles on me.

yeah, as time goes on, im learning more and more. its not that i set my truck up that way, its just when i originaly had the tranny redone, it came back with a nasty shift that i couldnt do anything about, and i also didnt have any input when jannetty tuned my truck. so a long story short, it is not the way i wanted it. i just need to learn to speak up and tell the people im paying exactly what i want! lesson learned
