Stalls take some getting used to, but after a while you won't even notice it. When you first get the converter put in, you will feel like it takes way more petal to get the truck to move, but again, you will get used to it. The remarkable gain in performance ( especially with turbo/ centrifugal blower set-ups) are well worth the " getting used to it" feeling.
