Might actually do some headers on the Avalanche and start testing some NA Cams on the 5.3l

 

I'm bored too....but I'm at work so I can't play with my truck....

 

I will believe it when I see it. You should buy my 4.8 turbo set up. Then I wouldnt even have to ship it. I will give you a really really good deal.

 

And you thought your truck was getting an engine Hurry up and drop off $$ so I can put your new motor into my truck

testing some n/a cams on a 5.3? i thought you already had that figured out?

 

 

There is always room for improvement. I have idea's that I've used on 5.7's that is not common but made huge midrange/drivabilty increases.
Now I'll work on a setup like mine with 3.42 gears,stock converter. Then hopefully in the future I'll just do the 408 with a possible FI.

 

Don~ you should look into doing a convertor as well. It willl probibly help with towing too.

 

That will get done when I have the tranny built.

Funny thing on how small the truck performance market is.I called my distibuter today to ask how much longtubes were and they laughed."We sold 3 set's last year".I was like damn, I bought 20 set's of Vette/F-body headers off you last year. They were telling me how truck performance parts just don't sell.

Guess the truck performance market is smaller than I thought.
