Default question about dyno sheet and shift points??

I have a friend that just installed a 220/220 .581/.581 115LSA in his truck, his other mods is dual flowmaster exhaust with stock cats and manifolds and his has a g80 with 3.23's & a 2500 stall, a real good reputable shop did his dyno tune (3rd gear pull)... here is what gets me... his truck showed 305rwhp on the dyno, I havent seen his dyno sheet but he says the truck is still pulling past 6500rpm, but his shift points are at 6100--6200rpm??? this doesnt sound right, does it?? I would think he should be shifting way over 6100/6200, right?? I really dont think that tuner is doing it right?? I dont know **** about tuning but I know I have the same cam and Im shifting 01-2 @ 6700...

by the way his next mods are some 3.73's and some LT's...
