Thunder550, you've got a lot left in yours I know for sure. There isn't much difference in my old set-up and yours accept for you have a 5.3 and I had a 4.8. I made 80 rwhp and 79 rwtq more than you. My 5 speed has a little less drag than the auto though. Keep it up!

It drove 40 miles home under it's own power and 3 pistons with chunks of ring lands missing

Geez, that's tuning to the ragged edge. I was refering to my truck only having 5* of timing TOTAL!
If you look at my EFI live screen shot, you'll see that I had 11.5* at that moment, but earilier in the run you can see I only had 5*. Now that **** sucks. In fact I had more KR than timing. I need fuel in the worst way.
