Default Mostly Stock Internal 4.8 Breaks 500rwhp

So I hit the rollers yesterday with Thunder550's GTO dyno day buddies. The "little" 4.8 managed to pull off 505 wrhp and 533rwtq with 11psi of boost. Was pretty happy to break the 500 marks. Probable had a little more in it, as I was running 16* of timing and had no KR, a couple more degrees could have gotten me about 20 more hp I think. I'm also maxing my 42lbs/hr injectors at 108% duty cycle at 6200rpm.

EDIT: Here's the vid

Only internal mods are a Vinci Ultra torque cam (210*/218* .551/.551 lift 116* lsa) and a set of LS6 valve springs/

I haven't spent a lot of time tuning my hi boost area, so it lean out a bit, but not enough for me to worry about. Their WB was a bit off from mine to and since I've been tuning off mine for the last 2 years, I will stick with it

Was waiting for you to share the good news!! Chris seems a little pissed at you!! So looking at your power curve...you and chris should run pretty close to each other until he get's into his top end! You guys should race and get it on vid!!
Speaking of video...did you get your pull on vid like Chris did?

Haha, ya he wasn't too happy, but we have some plans for his truck. We'll get it doing what it should Chris still has the vid of my truck. I was to tired last night to get it from him and he's not here right now.

We raced a couple times at Speed World last April when I was down here. Was very close, lol. He was only running 8psi to my 11. He had better R/t's then me, cuz I had to make sure I had full boost for the launch (was looking more for times then racing and still sportin the STS). Time wise, I actually beat him on the first race . He blames it on drive train lose, since he's got the 4l80 and 33's and I've got the 60 and 28's, lol.
