comp has a 215 604 lobe too. its a lsl lobe and suppose to be ok on springs. i was told the xer lobes, while short are still pretty hard on the springs. the lsk open a touch slower but are really high lifts. the lsl's are suppose to be in between. the taller lifts are suppose to yield more under the curve torque which is the whole reason for short duration cam, right? i was told just to make sure the oil temp is up before you smash on it. you have tards out there that just fire up a car or truck and roll and that's hard on the eng and trans not to mention cold springs.

I'm not arguing just asking questions is all.

I'm having the same issue with my truck and have been checking everything on the dyno to figure it out. I'm going to put better valve springs in soon and see if it helps me. I don't understand why I lose 50rwhp but then it starts to recover and it only does this above 8psi. Here is my sheet.
