LM7 301whp/426wtq on a Dynapack
Not really a truck, its in my 1972 Datsun 240z. But I thought some one here would like to see the numbers of this set up.
LM7 Block with 243 heads, stock milling and a LS6 intake. Its suggested to take .030 off the heads to retain stock 5.3l CR numbers, I didnt do this because I plan on added forced induction in the future. Cam is a custom reverse split cam (Mild, ground for a 5.3 turbo application. Sorry I dont have the numbers in front of me.) Shitty Sanderson block huggers with a restricting exhaust because of space allotted in my chassis. Looking to get rid of my TH400 and go to a 4l60e because it is overkill for my car. Oh and over drive would be ******* wonderful to have, .

yea its really nice to see a dyno chart that starts at 2000 vs 5000 like most do. but that looks like it shocked the dyno. No way its goin to make 426 at 2000rpms. Thats diesel torque. I agree with on this one.. 320@4500 is much more reasonable.
Whats the car run in the 1/4? bet its a ton of fun to drive

It does have a vast amount of torque down low, but its also a 2400lb car. My little 24 inch et streets are absolutely amazing on this car, but again it weighs nothing. When the 4l60e goes in I am sure that torque number will go down, I either shocked the dyno or my converter was flashing. I dont get to wrapped up in dyno numbers, I want the car to run a reliable 10s with boost and thats the only number I care about chasing.
As for the quarter mile, I am not sure since this is a new set up. Two months ago I had a LS6, but I spun a rod bearing and I completely changed my direction with the car. In its current 5.3 N/A form Id be looking at any where from a 11.9 to a 12.1, nothing crazy.
