oh, specs on the LS1 are:
JE flat top pistons, -2cc reliefs, ekerly and childs extream nitrous/boost rings
callies h-beam rods
stock crank with h bearings
799 casting heads pnp, 2.04/1.57 ferra valves, 6 angle job, milled .020", custom dual springs. By Frankenstien race heads.
11.12:1 SCR 8.65 DCR
232/238 .600/.600 110+4 custom lobe cam by bullet cams.
ARP everything
hand ported high pressure oil pump
rollmaster double roller chain
rings gapped for medium shot or 15-18 psi
ls7 lifters, ls2 trays, cometic head gaskets, new gm gaskets on the rest....

What is your compression(dcr) with the current setup? And did you have the eps cam in the truck with your stock heads, or did you do them at the same time? Also what lift is the eps cam? Congrats on the numbers, btw!! Im sure your truck screams!

I may be interested in your cam. I would love the heads too, but I can't swing all of it right now since our newborn is due anytime after this friday. Good luck with the new setup!

comp now on the 5.3 is 10.6:1 with a 55cc head and .040" gasket

Wish i coulda been there but we where about 30-45Min late im guessing.. oh well im lookin forward to the ls1 swap, i wish i coulda finished tuning mine the right way before it took a poo...

I know urs is gonna run good just dont let ur timing table look like this and you'll be in good shape.


Im really surprised mine ran as good as it did with that crap..

Ur telling me thats what i found when i bought my tuning software and got into my tune..

The place that did the tune originally was a local dfw tune and performance shop which i dont wanna say the name cuz i know some ppl that like them. but when i went speed density for a bit my ve table was not even close to being right either..

its a .598/.600 intake and exhaust. I did both at the same time, and rod bolts...long *** day! I will check out the susp thread...
