Default got my truck tuned today

I did a lq4 6.0 swap almost completely stock still even has manifolds and cats. only mods are off brand intake and magnaflow cat back. We got 316 whp and 350tq out of it with hp tuners. Is that good power for a mostly stock lq4?

how it compares is beyond me, but I'd be grinning from ear to ear with those kinda numbers, especially being bone stock with a tune. Sweet action.

numbers seem really high to me, i doubt you made enough power off of tuning to make up for ALL drivetrain loss... (within 10 hp/tq) from engine rating...

Those numbers are a bit high. The LQ9 in the VHO and 2wd SS trucks make around 290-300RWHP stock and that is through a 14 bolt rear, 20" wheels, and a 2 piece steel driveshaft. The LQ4 and LQ9 are pretty much the same other than compression. Picking up 25RWHP from a cat back, CAI, and a good tune are easily possible. Looks like your LQ4 is just taking advantage of the lower drivetrain drag to make up the power difference in loss of compression. I would say it's not out there much at all.

i ran a 14.4@96 mph with a 2.2 60' full street trim on 20" wheels with normal street tires
