I'm actually thinking about maybe doing a LS6 cam. I'm not totally sure though. I think I'll be kinda limited b/c of the truck intake, but it'll be a LOT better than stock. Nitrous is still very tempting. I can pickup a kit right now for under 300 that's only been sprayed once. I hate having to save money before xmas time

Tehcnically you don't HAVE to get a torque converter with any cam, but if you don't it will feel dead off of the line until it gets to the cams power band.

you're exactly right, depending on the cam and everything. I was lookin at the old man truck cam since it's pretty much the stock powerband. anyone heard of someone using this cam? most everyone I see uses the TR220 instead.
